Overview Cotrijal Cooperativa Agropecuaria e Industrial wanted to structure data, primarily in the grain management area, to improve decision makers' access to critical indicators of grain production and collection as well as product sales and eliminate Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, which produced unreliable results due difficulties in collecting accurate data. The challenge was to improve grain collection and sales receipt generation processes across the cooperative to eliminate reliance on paper and manual data entry and gain a competitive edge against other cooperatives in the region by automating processes and leveraging business intelligence capabilities. The company worked with Oracle Partner Advanced IT to implement Oracle Business Intelligence - creating easy access to necessary indicators that improve data analysis for managers, reducing the decision making time from weeks to days.
