Bonduelle Implements an MPLS VPN to Reduce Complexity and IT Costs While Improving the Availability of Its Systems
Overview The Bonduelle Group is the only food processing company involved in the three main areas of vegetable processing technology: canned foods, frozen foods and sophisticated fresh produce. After a period of difficulty, Bonduelle decided to assume more control over its facilities management providers and to take over the contracts in its own name again (purchasing, maintenance, telecoms). Furthermore, a planned change to the facilities management provider required the implementation of an open and scalable network to ensure the appropriate level of reversibility. After consulting the world's leading operators, they soon established that Verizon Business was the main player offering guaranteed total coverage as a sole provider, as well as reliable and continuous commercial monitoring.
