Overview PING manufactures custom-fit golf clubs and sells them through global retailers. It wanted to expand the benefits of an existing Microsoft virtualization solution to include mission-critical, resource-intensive applications. PING chose the Hyper-V virtualization technology in the Windows Server 2008 operating system. Now it can virtualize those 64-bit operating systems and memory-intensive applications without spending money on new hardware.
