Overview Brasilcap Capitalizacao S.A. wanted to centralize various databases throughout the company into a single platform to streamline operational management and maintenance and plan demand growth, based on information and systems use. The challenge was to double information storage capacity without losing efficiency and security, to support the company's projected growth and enhance IT solution development to support new business. Brasilcap Capitalizacao S.A. worked with Oracle Partner Triscal to implement Oracle Database Enterprise Edition, consolidating the company's information repository under a single technology and reduced data space from 330 gigabytes to 160 gigabytes due to the data compression resource.
