Epicor Software Case Study: Schott Pharmaceutical
Overview Schott Pharmaceutical Packaging Colombia is a glass manufacturing company, affiliated to Schott Group whose headquarters are located in Germany. Schott offers materials, components and special systems for in the industries of household appliances, optics, electronics, pharmaceuticals and renewable energies. Due to the business challenges that Schott faced, it was necessary to have an effective management and growth capacity tool. For six years, the company worked with an enterprise system that had run short in addressing their needs. Thus, in August 2005 Schott acquired Epicor iScala 2.2 SR2 version, after verifying that the solution met the requirements of the company and integrates the key business processes including accounting, inventory, production, sales and treasury. Additionally while making the tests, iScala adapted with other existing programs.
