Overview Macromedia ColdFusion MX 7 software builds on the proven performance of ColdFusion MX 6.1 to deliver applications capable of processing significantly more page requests than any previous release of the software. New features in ColdFusion MX 7, such as document generation, structured business reports, and event gateways, accommodate high-volume applications by delivering linear scalability under load. ColdFusion MX 7 Enterprise Edition is the solution for delivering multiple websites and applications on one or more servers or on existing J2EE application server installations. It adds the important performance, deployment, reliability, management, security, and platform support required by today's business-critical applications. The Asynchronous CFML Event Gateway, included in the Enterprise Edition, processes complex page templates faster than traditional synchronous processing.
