Minicom Advanced Systems Case Study: One Universal System
Overview AGH is Poland's second largest University and its IT department needed one universal system that 2 or more administrators sitting in 3 separate work stations can manage 20 servers located in a server room. To achieve this they hired C&C Partners Telecom to design and install a solution. C&C Partners Telecom installed Minicom's DX KVM matrix management switch with 3 DXU's for access and control. The first workstation is located locally in the server room. The second is 60 meters away in the administrator's office while the third is from a remote location connected via the University's LAN network by a Minicom KVM IP gateway.
