WiMAX (802.16) White Papers
Codium's Brief 'WiMAX Technology Trends' Paper
Overview In the WiMAX World show in Vienna, Austria it has become apparent that the very same vendors that chose to rest importance, rightly so of course, from the 802.16d standard and thus focussed all their R&D resource on 802.16e, firmly believing that only through the latter will operators finally be able to enjoy solid profitability in their new network roll-outs, are now in the midst of a new technical spec. conflict. Inevitably the old 802.16d "Champions" such as Alvarion, Aperto, Airspan and Redline are also attempting to add some value to this debate, from their rather suspect perspective one might add.
