But since the beginning the availability and speed of access have been the key factors to the internet. WI-FI revolutionized the internet access by taking it wireless. And today WiMax promises to take the internet to a whole new level. This paper will look at the 802.16 (WiMax) technology and see what are the key challenges involved. It also takes a look at the Sprint implementation of the technology in Baltimore.
