Yuntaa Builds Web 2.0 Content Management System to Support Rapid Growth Objectives
Overview Yuntaa wanted to support growth objectives with a central content management system that eliminates data integrity issues associated with storing Web 2.0 content and metadata in disparate locations and implement technology that provides customers with rapid, accurate, and reliable access to user-generated content. The challenge was to leverage a scalable platform to manage, administer, and backup multiple terabytes of Web 2.0 content on demand. Yuntaa implemented Oracle Database 11g with Oracle Partitioning as a content repository to maintain, secure, and back up metadata and Web 2.0 content in a central location and implemented Oracle Advanced Compression, resulting in lower storage costs, reduced disk space requirements, and improved application performance.
