Dalekovod d.d. Achieves Procurement Savings of More Than 20%
Overview Dalekovod d.d. wanted to find standardized software solution with construction industry functionality to aid regional and global expansion and reduce risk of losing application support for antiquated legacy applications which rely on increasingly hard-to-find expertise. The challenge was to replace existing software, which did not allow for precise control and oversight of supply chain management processes and harmonize financial modules to local business culture standards and practices. Dalekovod d.d. worked with Oracle Consulting to introduce global best practices and enable better control of project management, using logistics modules such as Oracle Order Management, Inventory Management, and Purchasing as well as achieved procurement savings of more than 20% by gaining comprehensive control over SCM processes.
