Scherpenhuizen Reduces Administration Errors by 20% With Streamlined Business Processes

Overview Scherpenhuizen BV wanted to develop a solution for streamlining the internal and logistical business processes required to fulfill global orders and make it easier for individual growers to access critical data, including pricing information, order updates, and delivery times to establish greater efficiency. The challenge was to implement a global system to track individual batches of fresh produce to enable more responsive service and provide greater flexibility to offer rewards and incentives to fresh produce growers - balanced against cost to the business. Scherpenhuizen BV implemented Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications, with support from Oracle Partner, Ordina, to enable accurately tracking the progress of global orders as well as reduced administration errors by 20% with streamlined business processes, including logistic and sales processes.
