Genworth Financial Canada Accelerates Loan Application Processes With Self Service Portal
Overview Genworth Financial wanted to strengthen already high customer service levels, which are required in the highly competitive financial services market and maintain competitive edge with a self-service Web site that provides customers with clear, intuitive interfaces and well-organized content. The challenge was to provide access to real-time application status and allow customers to serve themselves quickly as well as replace an inflexible system, not providing customer value. Genworth Financial implemented a flexible, standards-based architecture, based on Oracle WebLogic Portal and Oracle WebLogic Integration Server to replace an inflexible custom application used by the Canadian branch.
