Implementing Enterprise Data Warehouse and Credit Data Management for Basel II Compliance
Overview One of the nation's largest commercial banking organizations, the client operates an extensive regional distribution network and also serves customers in selected markets nationally. The firm needed to implement processes for storing and managing credit data and set up systems to satisfy Basel II requirements while addressing the data warehouse objectives of stakeholders from both the business and technology areas. The end result included designing, building, testing and deploying EDW and CDM solutions; devising a landing area for commercial and retail portfolio source and reference data; creating, testing and deploying reports and reporting requirements; and providing the design definition for and implementation of a data governance structure and a data quality scorecard.
