Automating Client Data Remediation to Improve Risk Management

Overview The institution is a leading global wealth and asset manager and top-tier investment banking and securities firm. It has offices in more than 50 countries and employs more than 50,000 people. Implementing an Enterprise Data Management (EDM) platform for client data is a key initiative for the firm. This solution is intended to provide timely, consistent and accurate client data throughout the enterprise, as well as to regulators. The institution's legacy systems could not identify potential issues and were themselves the source of a problem. BearingPoint and Initiate Systems were asked to help design and develop a repeatable, sustainable approach for client data remediation, both to address anti-money laundering requirements and to support the long-term goal of creating a comprehensive client data and on-boarding solution.
