Overview The company is a leading producer and distributor of industrial, medical and specialty gases, as well as of intermediate, performance and processing chemicals. Over the past 30 years, the company's success has led to substantial growth. This growth however, left the organization operating with disparate functional and regional silos, each with its own set of processes. To integrate its worldwide operations and meet increased market demands for electronic business, the company looked to BearingPoint to lead its global implementation of SAP R/3. Working closely with executive leadership, they established a design team and developed an enterprise design using representative configurations from all of the organization's major businesses and geographies, representing 80 present of the common core processes and data in scope.
