New Boston Fund Takes Performance Management Online, Replicates Unique Goal Setting Process to Avoid Culture Shock

Overview New Boston Fund is a real estate investment, development and management firm based in Boston, MA. The HR team recognized a need for the company to move its employee appraisal processes on-line. Their prior system was a paper-based system; they didn't have anything on-line and was very cumbersome. It didn't work well and it didn't fit their needs. At New Boston Fund, employees set their annual goals, and at the same time they set six-month objectives against those goals. After evaluating numerous vendors, only Halogen allowed them to maintain their current processes. With the new web-based system, New Boston Fund has been able to streamline their processes, as well as improve the tracking of employee goals.
