United Coil Center Cuts Account Closing Time From Ten Days to Five Days
Overview United Coil Center wanted to replace aging accounting system with a more advanced, flexible financial management platform and ensure the new system can be easily interfaced with existing applications to minimize implementation workload. The challenge was to provide accurate, up-to-date business data and accelerate delivery of month-end financial reports. United Coil Center engaged Oracle Certified Partner Manufacturing Systems Implementation Co.to install a new financial platform based on Oracle Financials, Oracle Fixed Assets, and Oracle Purchasing and integrated the Oracle platform with existing order and manufacturing systems, which enabled purchasing and billing information to be linked to Oracle Accounts Payable and Oracle Accounts Receivable.
