Overview Stasko Group is a Microsoft Certified Partner that specializes in software applications for professionals in the healthcare and legal fields. It wanted to address the challenges of many dental practitioners who needed customizable, easy-to-deploy applications that would integrate with their existing infrastructure. Stasko Group responded with DenToc, a Web-based electronic patient record management solution that interoperates with on-premise applications including those in the Microsoft Office system. A variant of the software-plus-services delivery model, DenToc is hosted on customers' premises. It provides a virtual desktop using Web-based terminal services so that staff at satellite clinics can access the solution over their intranet with a rich user experience. Stasko finds this scenario is attractive to small to medium businesses and is using it to expand market share.
