BIOS Development for Server Platform
Overview The client wanted to implement ACPI compliance in a fault tolerant server system. The ACPI feature needed to satisfy Microsoft's WHQL certification requirement. They also required Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server HAL adaptation. This company required that the work be done onsite in their location. The Calsoft Labs Engineering team worked with the customer's BIOS and hardware engineers to adapt, debug and release an ACPI compliant fault tolerant server system. The HAL was adapted by a Calsoft Labs engineer who worked closely with the customer's BIOS, hardware and OS engineers. All work was done onsite. The result was a success - a fully WHQL certified fault-tolerant server system.
