Overview Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Marathon is one of the largest energy industry companies in the world. Like other multi-national enterprises, Marathon was faced with the challenge of effectively and affordably communicating with its dispersed workers. Training communications could range from the most complicated IT issues to how to properly use a safety mask. To enhance the corporate education and communication processes, Marathon originally chose to deliver live video broadcasts via satellite. Several expensive broadcasts later, the company decided to switch to streaming media to benefit from the affordability and reach it could provide.
