Caja Segovia Replaces Its Linux Red Hat-Based e-Mail System With Microsoft Exchange
Overview Caja Segovia is a middle-sized financial institution, with more than 500 employees distributed among its main sites and a branch-office network spread over the provinces of Segovia, Madrid and Valladolid, Spain. Caja Segovia delivers its customers a diverse and competitive portfolio of products and services. Since 1999, the strategic value of Caja Segovia's electronic mail platform has been growing. Their infrastructure, first based on Red Hat Linux, was replaced off late with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. This initiative allowed them to solve various structural issues they had with Sendmail and delivered other important benefits such as management cost reduction, better overall productivity and a more optimized usage of corporate IT resources.
