Overview Kommunale InformationsVerarbeitung Baden-Franken (KIVBF) provides IT services to more than 550 German municipalities. KIVBF needed to install new software on 2,000 PCs overnight to enable its customers to issue enhanced, second-generation passports with digital fingerprints. KIVBF deployed Microsoft Application Virtualization to manage the software and, as a result, experienced easier upgrades, increased application stability, and a decline in support requests.
