Tribal College Deploys Content Security Gateway to Keep Malware Out of the LAN and Out of the Community

Overview Webmail was one of the biggest headaches for Chief Dull Knife College IT staff because desktop AV was often unable to prevent viruses and spyware from entering the LAN via web traffic. Desktop AV worked fine for cleaning viruses from POP3/SMTP email, but when many users used webmail instead of an email client, malware was able to circumvent the desktop protection simply by arriving through the unprotected HTTP protocol. The College deployed CP Secure's Content Security Gateway after seeing the CSG datasheet.
