Network Security White Papers
ScanSafe Case Study: The Royal Society of Medicine
Overview The Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) provides Internet access to medical professionals and researchers via 150 computer terminals in Europe's largest postgraduate biomedical library. RSM needed a solution to safeguard its network from threats arising by virtue of its members' and employees' unrestricted access to the Internet. The solution not only had to guard against Web-borne threats, but also allow users free reign to surf wherever they wished. ScanSafe's managed Web Malware Scanning solution not only met RSM's requirements, but exceeded them by also removing the burden of managing and maintaining the service.
