McAfee Case Study: Satellite Asset Management, L.P.

Overview With more than $5.4 billion in assets under management, New York City-based Satellite Asset Management, L.P., has a huge responsibility to protect its clients' investments and privacy. Satellite needed a vulnerability management solution that scanned and eliminated software defects, as well as all five classes of vulnerabilities. They needed an automated vulnerability assessment and remediation solution that repaired vulnerabilities and enforced security policies was in order. While Satellite's needs were significant, the solution was simple. It chose the Harris Corporation STAT Scanner for vulnerability assessment and McAfee's Hercules solution for vulnerability remediation.
