Fujitsu Case Study: Caisse Medico-Chirurgicale Mutualiste of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg
Overview The Caisse Medico-Chirurgicale Mutualiste of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg (CMCM) had a relatively rigid application that was difficult to upgrade and that was inappropriate for the new missions of the CMCM. In fact, any modification to the business rules called for complicated manipulations by the CMCM. To solve this difficulty, off late, the CMCM decided to replace its application and opted for ITN's V9 Assurances solution, a software package designed for insurance companies. The solution proposed by Fujitsu and ITN was based on the V9 Assurances offer. By opting for the V9 software, all the client's business needs were covered: policy subscription, endorsement, premium request, reminder, processing of the health insurance payments, technical accounting and general accounting.
