West Yorkshire Police needed to rethink its existing IT infrastructure to deliver new policing solutions, such as a storage-intensive vehicle recognition system and Crime, Case & Custody records management solution. The organisation chose Dell to overhaul its IT network, deploying a range of Dell PowerEdge servers supported by a Dell Storage Area Network (SAN) and tape library.
