Overview Over time, Flying J Refinery's tape backup system could not keep up with the refinery's data protection demands. The company needed a faster, more robust and expandable solution to handle its growing needs. Given the hazardous nature of the production and environment, reliability was a significant consideration. After evaluating several backup options, Flying J Refinery chose a Revinetix Sentio2000 to handle its daily backup needs. The Sentio2000 offers up to 2TB of raw data capacity and client-side compression to increase capacity to up to 4TB. The capacity, along with the redundancy of RAID5, dual power supplies, and the fact that all client/server software was included met Flying J Refinery's criteria.
