Chinese Municipal Agency Increases Productivity With Enterprise IM Solution
Overview The Shenzhen Administration for Industry and Commerce (Shenzhen AIC) provides business registration services in Shenzhen, an economically powerful municipality in Southern China. Off late, to complement traditional phone and e-mail and to enhance internal communications for its 2,000 employees, Shenzhen AIC introduced Instant Messaging (IM) using MSN Messenger Services. Based on the productivity gains that this solution provided, Shenzhen AIC chose to upgrade its IM system by deploying Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005 and Microsoft Office Communicator 2005. With its familiar Windows-based interface, convenient administrative tools, and integration with the Microsoft Office System, the new solution is easier to manage and further promotes employee collaboration and productivity.
