M2mob Creates a Music Recognition Service and Gets 70,000 Requests in Three Months
Overview Polish mobile solutions company m2mob has launched an innovative music recognition service that runs on Microsoft .NET connection software. Called Muzyczna Linia, it enables users to identify artists and song titles quickly and accurately by using their mobile phones. m2mob developed the system with its Polish media partner RMF FM and chose .NET technology because it enabled easy implementation of important features, including Short Messaging Service (SMS) traffic with mobile phone operators, communications services with Short Message Service Center (SMSC) operators, and a billing system.
