VBA Processes Veteran Requests Online
Overview The Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) is dedicated to increasing the quality of service it delivers to the country's veterans. One step along the way is to improve the process in which a veteran submits a claim for compensation and/or pension benefits. The VBA wants to increase veteran satisfaction and decrease the response time to get claims decided. The process can include multiple medical examinations for a veteran in order to evaluate the extent of his or her disabilities. To better serve veterans, the VBA has automated the exam request initiation and tracking process using Microsoft technologies in a Web-based application for those exam requests that go to an external health provider.
