Technical White Paper for None Stop Forwarding
Overview As the network develops, users raise higher requirements for network HA (High Availability). NSF (None Stop Forwarding) is an HA technology that can ensure normal data forwarding when the control plane of a router fails, thus protecting key services on the network. Currently, NSF is seeing wider and wider applications. NSF is an important technology to implement HA of network equipment. This paper describes the principles of NSF and its typical application, and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of NSF at the end.
