SME Firm, CE.SE.CO, Increases Productivity and Slashes Bandwidth Costs With Expand
Overview The number of simultaneous users accessing CE.SE.CO's enterprise database was growing on a daily basis, with the volume of database transactions and utilization of productivity applications increasing correspondingly as well. CE.SE.CO thought it had limited options for increasing bandwidth on its existing leased lines. The first option was to lease additional bandwidth from its Telco provider. This would, in turn, translate into increased recurring leased line fees for CE.SE.CO. However, this was a costly option that was going to require longer lead-time and would prove disruptive to CE.SE. CO's daily business operations. CE.SE.CO decided to deploy Expand's Accelerator 2700 series to boost the performance of the 64Kbps line that connected its Cernusco headquarters to its Besana Brianza branch office.
