MSDN Webcast: Introducing Windows Live Services on Mobile Devices (Part 4 of 4): Managing Connectivity and Offline Behavior (Level 200)
Overview This webcast discusses about creating quality Line-Of-Business (LOB) applications that incorporate Windows Live services. As with any Internet-based software or service, Windows Live requires that client computers and mobile devices have access to the Internet to interact with the provided software and services; however, by their portable nature, mobile devices are occasionally not connected to the Internet. The attendee will learn how to ensure that the LOB application provides a consistent and uninterrupted user experience, even when a temporary loss of connectivity prevents the application from accessing the Windows Live services. It provides techniques for detecting connectivity changes and explains effective ways for the application to respond to these changes.
