Rolling Out New SSL VPN Service

Overview Typically, service providers offer infrastructure services, such as site-to-site connectivity and data center hosting. In addition to this, they are always exploring new opportunities to offer managed services to corporate customers. Recent years have seen the growth of several types of Virtual Private Network (VPN) Services. The common characteristic of these services is to virtualize the service entity using the same physical infrastructure as much as possible. In its simplest form, a VPN tries to logically share resources (network infrastructure, security, remote and wireless access), thereby assuring complete privacy to each customer. In a VPN context, the services offered should be tailored individually for each customer.
