VHA Case Study: Tucson Medical Center

Overview Tucson Medical Center (TMC) serves more than 30,000 inpatients and 122,000 outpatients each year. TMC was looking for a company that could help it achieve this vision of a "Digital document continuum." With a goal of eventually creating a full electronic medical record, TMC sought a partner that could build a foundation for the change and define progressive stages for process and cultural change. The first step was converting to digital forms and online ordering. Of late, the medical center deployed VHA for its solution. TMC had consolidated to a single agreement for all the facility's copiers, replacing multiple agreements from several other copier vendors.
