Multimedia Polska SA (Poland) Choose Allied Telesis for Triple Play

Overview Multimedia is one of the most innovative Polish Service Providers, and is among the first to introduce IP based Triple Play (Data, Voice and Video), Video on Demand (VoD), and High Definition TV (HDTV). Multimedia needed to build a network that could be scaled to cover the entire country of Poland. Additionally, Gigabit Ethernet was required, to provide the necessary throughput for video, high definition video and data. After evaluating a number of vendors, Multimedia selected two products from Allied Telesis - the AT-9924T, a 24 copper port Gigabit Layer 3 switch, and the AT-9924SP switch, an SFP port version that is compatible with a wide range of optical modules.
