Automotive Systems Integrator Finds AR410 Simpler & Less Expensive Than Cisco Solution
Overview ProQuest Automotive, a world leader in automotive parts and service integration, develops dealership parts information and selling solutions for many of the largest automakers. ProQuest needed a device that would route between several Ethernet interfaces and do the NAT between these subnets if needed. To provide connectivity for today's needs and to support the future growth of application and data delivery via VPN, ProQuest wanted a router that offered the flexibility and interface count to handle the requirements of most dealer networks today and well into the future. Allied Telesyn presented a solution based on its AR410 mid-range network access router. The AR410 is a product that provides the necessary transparent connectivity for the dealer network in a single box solution.
