Overview As the UK and European fund management division of Prudential - a leading life and pensions provider-M&G offers a range of over 40 funds and invests in a wide range of assets, including UK and international equities, fixed interest, property and private equity. M&G needed to streamline and accelerate development to keep pace with the demand for new and innovative products needed in the front office. The challenge was to get a fast and flexible development environment to support increased levels of internal and external regulation. M&G deployed BEA WebLogic Platform 8.1 to create a fluid and flexible Business Data Services Layer (BDSL).
