Overview Suva (Schweizerische Unfallversicherungsgesellschaft) is the leading statutory personal accident insurance institution in Switzerland, constituting an important part of the Swiss social insurance system. Suva wanted to rationalize and simplify annual recalculation of statutory personal accident Insurance. The challenge was to implement standardized electronic data transfer to simplify repetitive, redundant, and error-prone registration processes. Suva deployed BEA systems for its solution and implemented BEA Tuxedo 8.1 and BEA WebLogic Server 8.1.
