Overview DHL faced the challenge to overcome problem of no one available to sign for packages being delivered and packages being returned to the depot. This resulted in additional costs for DHL and delivery delays for customers. Using DHL Packstation, customers can collect their package round the clock. Stations are linked to the central databases using BEA WebLogic Server 8.1 and the system guarantees that packages are delivered to the right address and recipients are automatically informed by email or SMS.
