In order to simplify IT management, ONGC wanted to standardize its operating system across the organization. It deployed Windows Vista Business on 18,000 portable computers, with plans to deploy to an additional 2,500. As a result, ONGC is experiencing enhanced security, improved IT management, and increased employee productivity.
