BEA Systems Case Study: Jefferson County

Overview Jefferson County, Colorado is a thriving business, industrial and residential community of about 520,000 people. Jefferson County needed integration of multiple, disparate systems to facilitate proper utilization of mission critical geographic parcel data and wanted to increase the reliability and scalability of critical county systems. The challenge was to lower total cost of ownership by reducing heterogeneity across county systems. The county chose the open, standards-based BEA WebLogic Enterprise Platform, including BEA WebLogic Server and BEA WebLogic Integration, as a common framework to ease integration and simplify business processes.
