BEA and HP Create Stable, High Performance Customer Self Service Portal for Swiss Life in Belgium

Overview Swiss Life is a leading provider of life insurance and long-term savings and protection. Swiss Life wanted to create a next-generation ePortal to manage relationships with group insurance clients in Belgium and maximize reliability and resilience. The challenge was to increase application performance and enable seamless integration of new services. BEA WebLogic Server 8.1 was the run-away choice from everyone concerned with the decision. BEA WebLogic Server 8.1 was deployed into an HP environment. Swiss Life is using an HP-UX environment across three HP RP8400 UX servers, each with 10 processors. ensures BEA WebLogic Server 8.1 also offers clients a secure ePortal environment.
