BEA and HP Helping OZ Mobilize IM

Overview OZ empowers consumers to stay connected with mobile instant messaging and email solutions. OZ wanted to overcome the technical barriers to implementing IM on wireless networks so that wireless operators could capitalize on the cultural phenomenon known as instant messaging. OZ needed a platform with the flexibility and performance that telecom operators demand. After considering its options, OZ selected BEA WebLogic Server 8.1 as its business platform, and HP ProLiant DL380 servers as its hardware environment.
