Overview Vicentin S.A.I.C.'s origins go back to 1929. It is the product of a family of pioneers with an extraordinary vision for the future. The various challenges of technology and scale that the company faced in the oilseed industry were growing larger with each decade. Among the challenges were the need for better control of administrative processes and other business procedures. The company also needed an integrated IT infrastructure to manage a higher volume of transactions, and to integrate its different business units. The company bet on implementing the applications of Oracle E-Business Suite, which helped it make quick decisions when facing changing business conditions.
