The Sociedad Chilena del Derecho de Autor Improves Service and Efficiency With a Reliable Database

Overview The Sociedad Chilena del Derecho de Autor wanted to implement an integrated IT infrastructure to more efficiently renew licenses and collect and distribute authors' rights and create a robust, reliable, high-availability database for quick and easy access to up-to-date information. The challenge was to eliminate slow and inefficient manual processes to reduce the time for sending remittances to authors and develop a Web portal with online self-service and consulting facilities for its members. The Sociedad Chilena del Derecho de Autor implemented an integrated IT infrastructure with the help of Oracle Consulting, granting licenses and collecting and distributing authors' rights more efficiently.
