TechNet Webcast: Inside Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Infrastructure Networking Services (Level 200)
Overview This webcast shows how to migrate Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) scopes into Microsoft Windows Server 2003, examines new features of DHCP in Windows Server 2003, explores DHCP/DNS interaction and other features, and sets up a multi-subnet DHCP solution across two Windows Server 2003 servers. The presenter also configures internal and external DNS servers, examines resource records, and configures several types of zones. The webcast shows how to configure TCP/IP properties, as well as enable Internet Protocol Security (IPSec) to secure TCP/IP traffic. Finally, a brief overview of some basic Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) concepts is provided including addressing, routing, and neighbor discovery.
