Overview The enormous growth of the Internet has encouraged more applications, users and services to be deployed. New protocols such as RSVP, MPLS and Diffserv promise to provide quality of service, through reservation of resources or differentiation of traffic. This paper studies the performance of voice in terms of delay and jitter under varying load conditions when an integrated environment of MPLS and Diffserv is provided.
